Matt + Sharon + Deacon | Mishawaka Family Photography

We recently got to meet up with our good friends Matt and Sharon who recently moved to Mishawaka, Indiana. We had a really fun portrait session by the St. Joseph River and even got to splash around in the water a bit. Deacon loves puddles and dipping his feet in the running water. Even though it was approaching 80 degrees, there was a change in the atmosphere and it really felt like the first photo session of Autumn for us.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Deacon, we love watching you grow so big and strong.

Kristina + Raj’s Garfield Park Portrait Session

Kristina and Raj met me and Wendy on a weekend morning at the Garfield Park Conservatory, we practically had the entire place to ourselves. We love shooting in the morning light and the light was especially nice filtering in through the conservatory ceiling on this September morning. We’ve enjoyed getting to know Raj and Kristina and their family this summer, shooting their backyard wedding and discussing plans for their upcoming Chicago skyline reception. We find it so important for couples to have a great connection with their photographers and we feel blessed to connect so well with Kristina and Raj.  Now, check out their fantastic portraits!

We love shooting bright colored clothing in our portraits, so we were so excited when Kristina showed up in bright pink. Doesn’t she she look great against all the green?My favorite from the session, I love the elegance of Kristina and Raj on these steps with the drama of the palms surrounding them!

Becky & Mike are Expecting! | Chicago Maternity Photography

We met up with Becky and Mike at Union Station in Chicago for their maternity session. Becky and Mike were excited to capture this special time in their life and the pregnancy of their first baby! Becky’s looks adorable with her baby bump and Mike looks like a proud father-to-be.

Becky + Ben’s Bridal Portraits | Libertyville Wedding Photography

We felt so honored to be part of Becky and Ben’s sweet summer wedding in Libertyville. It was a special day for the two of them to join together in front of family and friends who came from all over. Becky and Ben are so in love and it definitely comes through in their portraits at a nearby park.
