PORTRAITS SHOULDN'T HIDE ON HARD DRIVES
Images that capture special moments deserve a special place in our lives and our homes. We celebrate this by creating fine art canvas and framed prints along with unique albums and greeting cards to share.

We love what we do and look forward to getting to know you. We hope you'll visit often and, as always, we love to hear your comments.

Becca + Jon + Owen + Titus | Chicago family photography

My favorite part of being a lifestyle photographer is the opportunity to meet folks on their home turf, capturing real activities in real places that are meaningful to them. It’s an exciting time for Becca and Jon, they’ve just moved to a new neighborhood and their boys have several fruit trees in their backyard and an awesome park right out their front door. As you can see, the park is filled with Autumn leaves; Owen and Titus had a blast crunching, raking and jumping in the piles. Check out a few favorites from their Fall family session.

Heather + Rich are Getting Married! | Engagement Photography in Chicago

There’s no cooler place in the city of Chicago to hang out than the Hyde Park neighborhood in Fall. We took great advantage of the character of the buildings, the changing colors and the fantastic light in Hyde Park for a romantic engagement session with Heather and Rich. They came ready to give it their all in a short timespan before the sun dropped behind the trees surrounding the university campus nearby. These photos really capture the romance and love between these two, we can’t wait to capture the details of their upcoming wedding.
One of my favorite photos of the day, captured after finding a huge brick wall with the words “Rent Hyde Park” painted in huge letters. It made the perfect memorable backdrop to a beautiful couple soon to start their new life together on the south side of Chicago.

Karen + Chad’s Wedding Day Details

It takes a strong community of family and friends to pull off all the details that go into such a good looking wedding. It’s apparent that all hands were on deck to put together Karen and Chad’s Fall-themed wedding. From a close friend flying in from New York to bake and decorate the wedding cake, to the hand-made veil created by the mother-of-the-groom, to ingeniously spruced up curtains and decorations at the reception pulled off by the mother-of-the-bride and that hand-made signs installed by the best man and buddies; everything about the day came together seamlessly.Wendy captured Karen and Chad’s reaction just after they walked down the aisle, they’re excitement is contagious. I love it! Trader’s Point Hunt Club made the perfect setting for a Fall wedding. Karen and Chad’s favors are a bag with ingredients to make s’mores in the fire pit just outside the club doors.Congratulations Karen and Chad!

Karen + Chad’s Wedding Portraits | Zionsville Wedding Photography

They may have grown up in nearly identical ‘ville’s in the midwest, but Karen and Chad met and fell in love far from home in Upstate New York. That didn’t keep them from returning to their midwest roots to celebrate their marriage back in Chad’s home town, Zionsville Indiana.

The storms all morning long threatened to cut short our time for portraits, but these two and their laid back wedding party were up for just about anything leaving plenty of time in their day to capture some great moments.

Check the blog tomorrow for more wedding day details and their fun reception at Traders Point Hunt Club.

Chad is a classic gentleman who adores his bride. His manners and manliness were even referenced by the paster during their ceremony. Karen is a fun-loving women who can hang with the boys. She may be laid back, but it’s evident she keeps things fun for Chad. Their love and respect for each other permeated their day.

As the weather cleared up, we were able to escape to a family friend’s farm for an incredible rural backdrop before meeting up with the rest of the wedding guests at the reception.

Jodi + Paul + Mila | Chicago Family Photography

It was so fun to stroll around Jodi and Paul’s neighborhood again, you may remember Jodi and Paul’s Maternity session earlier this Spring. This time, we got to take 4 month old, Mila along and she did great! We found some fantastic fall light in the parks and sidewalks near they’re house. Check out their loyal dog, Ruff, he hardly ever left their side the entire time. I love it!
